BILLINGS, MONTANA--April 26, 2000 ----The Billings Convention & Visitors Council announces the availability of their new recruitment and vacation magazine. The free, full color guide provides complete information about Billings, Montana as a travel destination, offering a variety of ideas for pre, post and spouse tours.
The Billings Vacation Guide is a 24-page magazine containing information and descriptions on the attractions, events, accommodations, dining, shopping and transportation in Billings and the surrounding areas. Specific information on area attractions such as Yellowstone National Park, Little Bighorn Battlefield, Pompeys Pillar and the historic towns of Red Lodge and Cody, Wyoming are available in the new magazine. In addition, a descriptive calendar of the major events in Billings and the surrounding area is included. The guide also contains statewide travel information and provides interesting and fun facts about the region.
Transportation information has been enhanced to help meeting and convention planners arrange for transportation to and from conventions, as well as arrange for transportation for pre, post and spouse tours. The revised section contains information on both air and ground transportation including airline service providers, air travel times, mileage charts, bus rental companies and local tour operators. One of the new features in the guide is an expanded downtown map. The new design of the center spread allows for the Billings city map and the downtown map to be seen at a glance.
Meeting planners will also find the hotel and restaurant charts helpful in planning their meetings in Billings. The hotel charts contain information on room quantity, restaurant and lounge availability, pools, pets, rates and kitchenettes. The restaurant charts provide information on liquor licenses, price range, casino machines and meals served at each of the restaurant.
