BILLINGS, MONTANA--September 1, 2000--The 2000 horse racing season in Billings has begun and will provide fast-paced racing action at the MetraPark each weekend from now through September 17. Entrance to the races is $2.00 per person.

In addition to the racing action, visitors will have the opportunity to win a 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT Extended Cab pickup. By correctly selecting at least four winners in any given day, your name will be entered into a random drawing to take place September 17. If the person selected from the drawing picks the winners of the last eight races on September 17 correctly, they win the new vehicle.

Other exciting events happening in Billings throughout September include the Farmer’s Market downtown each Saturday from 8:30 to noon; Gainan’s Scarecrow Auction and Festival, September 14-16; Billings Gun Show, September 15-17; the Symphony Opening Night Spectacular, September 16; Parade of Homes, September 16-17 and much more. In addition to these exciting events, visitors will also enjoy the largest shopping mall in the region, numerous home stores, national retailers, unique boutiques downtown and a variety of fine dining opportunities.
