Linda Gleason
Administrative Manager and Dir. Of Leadership Billings
I began my career with the Billings Area Chamber of Commerce in 1995, contracting my accounting services to work part time from my home office. Being a mother of three children, Ive had the best of both worlds for the past 10 years.
After leaving Vaughn, Montana, I attended the University of Montana, graduating with a B.S. in Accounting and successfully passed the C.P.A. exam the following year. I met my husband, Don Gleason, during our freshman year in college. We were married during our junior year. Those are great memories living in married student housing, going to school and attending all of the Griz games. I was a part of the Zoo and my husband was an athletic trainer, working the sidelines of the Grizzly sporting events.
Our daughter, Britany, just graduated from West High and will attend Montana State University this fall. (Theres sure to be some heated Cat/Grizzly stuff going on!) Becka will be a junior at Billings West, and Ben will begin middle school at Will James Junior High.
As the Chambers Administrative Manager, my duties include Administrative Assistant to the President, Human Resources, and preparing and analyzing the Financial information. Last fall I added being the Director of Leadership Billings to my duties with the Chamber of Commerce. What an incredible program! After living in Billings for 22 years, it is unbelievable what I learned last year about our City!
The last three months have been an amazing adventure at the Chamber! We are committed to educating our community by being a leader in local business and legislative issues. Our staff works hard and is dedicated to the goals we have set for the Billings Area Chamber of Commerce. I am proud to be a part of the team working behind the scenes to move our community forward!
